Mono Potassium Phosphate (MPK) is used to provide a high source of potassium and phosphorous in a water soluble form. Commonly used as part of a feeding program in an ‘A’ and ‘B’ tank system in greenhouse production. MPK can also be used in field agriculture situations.
The MKP fertilizer consists pure quality crystalline powder and is therefore known a greenhouse grade quality. For crops with a preferred source of phosporus and potassium and nitrogren should be limited, this fertilizer is the solution. Because of its high purity, the nutrients can be easily absorped by the crop. MKP does not contain nitrogen and is low in sodium.
The nutrients contribute to plants’ transport and sugar content, starches and acids. It increases fruits quality and preservability and stimulates growth of roots and fruits. On top of that, the nutrients strengthen building blocks for cell walls.
